Pilot Freight Services Receives Top Industry Honors From SupplyChainBrain, Ryder, Logistics Management and Inbound Logistics

LIMA, PA – October 8, 2018 – Pilot Freight Services (Pilot), a worldwide provider of transportation and logistics services, announces receipt of four industry awards so far in 2018, including: SupplyChainBrain’s 100 Great Supply Chain Partners; Logistics Management’s Quest for Quality; Inbound Logistics’ Top 100 3PL Providers; and Ryder’s Top Carriers of the Year.

SupplyChainBrain celebrates the top Great Supply Chain Partners yearly, determining the recipients through peer nominations. Over a period of six months, supply chain professionals submit vendors and providers whose solutions have made a significant impact on their company’s efficiency and overall supply chain performance. Pilot is honored to be recognized for their outstanding solutions and services.

Pilot is the proud recipient of more than 25 Quest for Quality awards, and is pleased to top the rankings in the on-time performance and value categories in the Airfreight Forwarders group this year. For the second year in a row, Pilot was voted #1 overall in freight forwarding in Quest for Quality. For decades, Quest for Quality has been regarded in the transportation and logistics industry as the most important measure of customer satisfaction and performance excellence. To determine the winners, Logistics Management readers evaluate companies in all modes and service disciplines.

For the ninth consecutive year, Pilot has been named to Inbound Logistics’ list of the top 3PL Providers, and is proud to add it to their growing collection of company honors. Each year, Inbound Logistics’ editors select the best logistics solutions providers by carefully evaluating submitted information, conducting interviews and online research, and comparing that data to their readers’ expanding global supply chain and logistics challenges to serve their unique needs better and with more efficiency.

In June, Pilot was awarded their 16th Ryder Carrier Quality Award. The commercial fleet management, dedicated transportation, and supply chain solutions company recognizes excellence through a variety of metrics, including on-time performance, claims handling, customer service, technology applications, economic value, and innovation for the last full calendar year.

“We are excited and pleased to add these awards to our list of company accolades in 2018,” said John Hill, president and chief commercial officer of Pilot Freight Services. “As our business continues to grow, it is a great honor to be recognized by our peers and industry experts for our world-class services and solutions.”
