Pilot Recognized for Award-Winning Work

Pilot’s 29th Quest for Quality award marks the first time Pilot has been considered in a new category: value-added warehousing and distribution solutions. The Quest for Quality rankings are compiled by Logistics Management magazine, whose readers rated providers in this category on customer service/value-added services, order fulfillment, transportation distribution, inventory management and logistics information systems. This recognition is widely regarded in our industry as the most important measure of customer satisfaction and performance excellence. Winners are highlighted in the magazine’s August issue.

For the 10th year in a row, Inbound Logistics magazine selected Pilot as a Top 100 Third-Party Logistics Provider. The list is based on specialty services and solutions, types of customers, corporate culture and flexibility. The number of 3PLs offering qualified submissions exceeded 300 this year. Those selected come from a diverse mix of company types that are now offering 3PL solutions—warehouse operators, expediters, roll-ups, truck leasing, technology, finance, brokers, carriers and freight forwarders. Inbound Logistics is the leading trade magazine targeted toward business logistics and supply chain managers. The Top 100 list appears in the July issue.
